The head is a powerful representation of a child’s destiny and needs to be guarded with all diligence. If you notice that your child is fighting in their sleep or talking in their sleep, or crying whilst sleeping, it simply means that your child is under oppression. In the spirit realm powers of darkness are attracting their destiny.

As the parent you must act and act quickly with target prayers.

First prepare yourself to ask the child the following questions:

Can you remember what happened in your dream?

Can you remember who or what you were fighting?

Often the child can describe what happened or give you some information which will guide your prayers.

Also monitor their demeanor once awake. Is the child irritable, less co-operative, get frustrated quickly, moody and non-responsive to your instructions? If any or all of the above is true, then the child has had an attack in the dream.

The next step is to back track their day or days and in some instances weeks to assess what is going on during the day that might have a negative impact on the child.

Cause of Action:

  1. Enter into God’s presence with thanksgiving and praise.
  2. Confess your sins and that of your child.
  3. Take a bottle of olive oil. Hold in your right hand and confess these scriptures out loud.

Isaiah 54:13-17

13 And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children.

14 In righteousness shalt thou be established: thou shalt be far from oppression; for thou shalt not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near thee.

15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against thee shall fall for thy sake.

16 Behold, I have created the smith that bloweth the coals in the fire, and that bringeth forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.

17 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

Psalm 105:14-15

14 He allowed no one to oppress them; for their sake he rebuked kings:

15 “Do not touch my anointed ones;    do my prophets no harm.”
